Renegade Sufi is an ensemble led by Dawoud (sitar, guitar, bass, dilruba, raita, composer, improviser, vocalist, producer, writer, poet, audio engineer, music teacher, and whatever else he can get away with). The group uses many different forms of music as a means of instilling an experience of the spiritual and a beauty beyond what we experience with our senses.
